Beaches

Cala Gracionetta

Located just around the rocky headland of Cala Gracio you will find it's tiny sister cove, Cala Gracionetta. This is a lovely little Cala with a sandy beach and fantastically clear waters.

With its situation set back from this beach the El Chirunguito nestles into the surrounding pine trees. This is a lovely restaurant specialising in fresh seafood and paella dishes.

The beach is also extremely popular for weddings with the restaurant used for the after parties. Please e-mail us for further details.

Figueretas

The most central beach area for Ibiza Town, at the back of Dalt Vila, includes a very secretive and secluded gay nudist spot, hidden beneath a high cliff face. Otherwise it's all large open beaches and hotel facades

Cala Gracio

Cala Gracio is a small intimate sandy cove situated just outside San Antonio. With it´s backdrop of pine trees, it is extremely popular with the locals due to it´s close proximity to the town and is also great for families with young children due to its sprinkling of fine white sand and gentle graduation into the sea.

Playa d'en Bossa

One of the longest beaches - indeed a glorious 2km, Playa D'en Bossa has come into its own over the last couple of years. Although it's popularity has never waned due to the simple gorgeousness of it, it really did need to be revamped and offer a lot more for the second decade of the 21st Century. Following it's demise after the days of Bora Bora you can now find a new generation of hip hangouts to try and love - and possibly bounce from as you make your way from tip to tip.

We have seen over the last couple of years the birth of a plethora of fabulous places to dine, sunbathe and mingle at, including La Plage, Sands, Nassau Beach, Delano and Ushuaia, making Bossa now a choice destination to visit over your stay. Naturally it offers soft white sand, a steady incline into the sea and beautiful views out to Formentera.

Cala Conta

Visitors can get to Cala Conta by the numerous boats and buses from San An. It is a beautiful little cove with lots of rocky inlets and safe little beaches, though the sand can be a bit gritty. One section is nudist, one touristy and the panoramic view of the offshore islands is quite spectacular.  Along the clifftops jutting from the beaches are various choices of restaurants. Sunset Ashram has proven extremely popular over the last 5 years, along with quality restaurant Sílla des Bosc.

Aguas Blancas

A big favorite for cool islanders, with an extremely laidback ambience, just off the San Carles-San Vicente road. It was the 'original' nudist beach, narrowly stretched 3 kilometers along the foot of steep cliffs between Cala San Vincente and Figueral. Drummers regularly turn up to play and a couple of fine chiringuito's deliver some cool sounds. Quite off the radar, but beautiful nevertheless.

Es Cavallet

Just around the corner from the infamous Las Salinas Beach and a drive through the salt flats, you will find it's neighbour Playa D'es Cavallet.  Approx 1.1km long this beautiful sandy beach is on the southernmost tip of the Island and one of the two official nudist beaches - making it a likely hangout for our gay visitors to Ibiza.

Extremely popular due to its close proximity to Ibiza and the quality of its two gorgeous restaurants La Escollera and El Chiringuito. This unpretentious beach absolutely offers it all.

Cala Xarraca

A sheltered cove, off the Ibiza Town-Portinatx road, turn off at km17. It's protected by low-lying cliffs, offering some of Ibiza's best views, plus a rocky seabed that's ideal for snorkeling. Recommended restaurant too.

Cala Olivera

One cove round from S'Estanyol and between Roca Llisa and S'Estanyol you will find Cala Olivera. It's hard to get to location means that you will not find this beach busy.

It is great for snorkelling and popular with nudists.

Cala Jondal

Cala Jondal, is possibly one of the top beach spots on the island.  Accessible of course by road but also extremely popular with all visiting superyachts. The quality of the beach doesn´t fuel its famous reputation though, being very pebbly and tricky to enter the sea, but due to the three fabulous restaurants dotted along its shore it´s popularity doesn´t seem to be waning.

For it's along here you will find the brilliant *Blue Marlin. Unmistakable with it´s gleaming white sunloungers and day beds and a neverending supply of cocktails and cava sangria. Open every day for lunch and dinner, this stylish people magnet attracts locals, tourists and simply hedonists alike, with Sundays being their most popular day.

Just next door is the slightly more laid back *Yemanja restaurant. Not competing but complimenting it´s shinier neighbour. Focusing more on it's food (mainly seafood and mouthwatering salads) it is a welcoming and lively place and again great for people watching.

Lastly, just around the corner is *Tropicana.  This is the place that makes even locals feel that they are on holiday. Friendly service, a gorgeous menu and fabulous bar area will not fail in relaxing and pampering you.

So, Cala Jondal is really a destination for every type. Tropicana is probably the most family friendly, Blue Marlin, the playground for the older, rich and famous and Yemanja seamlessly catering for the two. A visit to this beach really is not to be missed - ever!

S'Estanyol

Tucked away on the East Side of the Island - in the area between Talamanca beach and Sol D'en Serra, you will find - if you look carefully, S'Estanyol.

It is situated in a quiet little shingly cove housing just one small Chiringuito serving drinks and snacks.   Once upon a time it was home of the infamous "Sven Vath" afterparties, where he used to play to the die-hards from his yacht while they shimmied on the sand ... and has since been host to many of the more underground, invitation only parties on the island.

Las Salinas

The expansive, 1.5km long Ses Salinas beach has been a popular choice on Ibiza for years - due to it's amazing soft white sands, surf-friendly waves and of course, hip hangouts such as Jockey Club - which have become must-visit institutions over time.

Accessed over the sand dunes and through the pine woods this nature reserve is Ibiza at its finest and making it popular with all age groups and types from families to footballers.

In summer enjoy the view from the proximity of your (slightly expensive) sunbed while cocktails are brought to you from the bar, while in winter discover the pirates watchtower at the far end of the beach - a long and rewarding walk.
