Blue Marlin - the Sophisticated Ibiza Party Central is back... looking as Chic and Stylish as ever (despite the rumours of some of it being dug up!).
Starting slowly and quietly it was great to arrive before it got too crazy on the terrace, with most people settled at tables finishing dinner or mingling on their ultra cool sunloungers on the beach.
It wasn´t long though before people began to trickle in as the parking attendants got their cars organised and taxis pulled up - and bit by bit - and quite unnoticeably so the terrace started to fill.
And fill it did! Everyone knew it was the party not to be missed, the party to be seen and noticed at, the Party to start a weekend of parties and indeed a week of some of the top restaurants in Ibiza Opening.
The Bar staff tried to cope with the sheer number of people, ordering their Caps and Mojitos by the million - which were both up to the normal fantastic Blue Marlin Standard.....Mmmmmm, been waiting all winter for one of those and it tasted as good as I knew it would!
The party upped tempo as we mingled and danced. The music as brilliant as ever, it was a long, but short (thanks to the clocks changing) night. Thanks to all at the Blue Marlin for, as usual getting it so so right.
Only one little tiny word of warning..... the loos have swapped position which caused much childish hilarity over the day as countless people were seen stumbling into the wrong ones!
